Anne Salisbury joined the inspection team in April 2003 after 25 years
of teaching instructing, and lecturing in the UK, Europe and New
Zealand. She has a broad range of outdoor qualifications. As a senior
instructor at Plas y Brenin, she was involved in the delivery and
development of the European Mountain Leader Award, being Training
Officer for the first six years of the professional association's
existence. A course provider for both SPA and ML summer and winter, she
sat on the MLTS (Mountain Leader Training Scotland) Board for five years
as colleges representative, and was Technical Adviser for two local
authorities in Scotland. Still very active in mountaineering, rock
climbing and orienteering, she also takes every opportunity to sail, sea
kayak and mountain bike.
